Demi Lovato's Inspired Seventeen Magazine February 2012 Issue Makeup Tutorial

I immediately fell in love with Demi Lovato's makeup look on the cover of the February 2012 issue of Seventeen Magazine. Demi Lovato's makeup are always flawless like this one on the Sventeen Magazine February 2012 issue. Although, somehow her makeup look on the cover of Seventeen Magazine February 2012 grabbed me the most so far. It is very natural, fresh and gorgeous in February 2012 issue of Seventeen Magazine. In this makeup tutorial I will be sharing my take on the makeup look, so it is not going to be exactly the same but it will be very similar.

Eyes:

1.) For the eyes, you want to first start off by priming your lid with Too Faced Shadow Insurance in Candlelight. It is very similar to the original shadow insurance, except that it has a bit more color and is a tad bit shimmery. So apply that all over your upper lids, inner corners and lower lash lines.

2.) Now take the Shady Lady Palette by the Balm with a flat shader brush pack on "Devilish Danielle". Which is just a light brown color and using padding motion apply that all over your upper lids.

3.) Next, I am taking a crease brush with Inglot Eyeshadow in "#357" which is just a light matte brown color and I am applying this to my crease.

4.) Then, with a small pencil brush with the same Inglot #357 apply that to your lower lash line.

5.) To highlight, my browbone I am taking MAC eyeshadow in "Creamy Bisque" with a big fluffy flat shader brush. Then, take a bit more of that Creamy Bisque shadow and apply that into my inner corner to brighten up my eyes.

6.) Now I am taking my Sephora eyeliner in Pearl Beige which is a light champagne color and I am apply this to my lower waterline.

7.) I am now taking my Stila eyeliner in Stingray and I am apply it to my upper lash line to give my lashes a fuller look.

8.) Curl my lashes.

9.) Lastly, for the eyes I am apply a light coat of my all time favorite mascara the Fairydrop Scandal Queen Mascara to my upper and lower lashes.

Cheeks:

1.) Demi had a bronze glow to her appearance so I am taking my Physicians Formula Bronze Booster Glow Boosting Pressed Bronzer in Light to Medium with a big fluffy powder brush and apply that under my cheekbones.

2.) For blush, I am using Wet n' Wild powder blush in Mellow Wine it is a dusty rose color with an angle blush brush to my cheekbones.

Lips:

1.) Demi had a really light pink lip color on so I am taking my Bare Escentual Buxom Big & Healthy Lipstick in Sydney and applying that straight out of the tube to my upper and lower lips.

2.) To finish it off I am taking my Bare Escentual Buxom Lipgloss in April and apply this all on top of the Sydney lipstick that we just applied.

How to Make Your Metabolism Faster?

Have you ever wondered why people are skinny or have high metabolism? Well, sometime it is because of their genes which they can inherit from one or both of their parents. Although, I'll start with the basics of what is a metabolism. A metabolism is the process of "chemical reactions that happen in cells of living organisms to sustain life." So basically, the faster and higher your metabolism rate the skinnier you are and the faster your foods are being burn and digested once you putted it in your body. You can naturally have a high or fast metabolism naturally without any of your parents having a high metabolism, it is very possible.

I naturally have a high and fast metabolism that is why I am really skinny, but I also do many other activities that build on my metabolism even more. I might not be the best person to ask for why I am so fitted and skinny, but I am definitely not as skinny as I am now even with my high metabolism if I don't do any of the following things. For your information I actually measured and weighted myself TODAY to show how skinny I am if you were wondering. I am 5'10 and currently weighing at 109 pounds. My measurements are 34-23-34 in US form, but I am not sure what I'll be in an EU form. My dress size is a 4 in the US and a 34 in EU. I know that I might sound really underweight to most people like saying I am as skinny as a supermodel, but with my really fast metabolism and my exercise I think that I am healthy. I went to the doctor for check ups and the results were that I was healthy.

Now that the little information about me are over, lets get onto the actual post. These tips are great for everyone, especially if you don't already have a fast or high metabolism already. It might not actually make your metabolism goes really high, but it will make your metabolism faster than normal if you know what I mean here.

Tips to Have Faster Metabolism:

1.) Drink Water- I know many people go on a water diet when they are trying to loose weight, which is true but if you are wanting to speed up your metabolism it is a "no go". Drinking water actually have a lot of benefits for your health, which is good because you need to be healthy to be able to speed up your metabolism. Water has no calories, so it is not bad at all to drink it after every meal you eat. You should drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday, so that it can help removes your body waste. Which is what you need to speed up your metabolism, you do not want those waste to turn into fats.

2.) Don't Exercise Right After You Eat- Next, is probably the least tips and tricks that I have not heard about and that is to not exercise right after you eat. This is really important if you are wanting to loose weight by speeding up your metabolism, because if you exercise after you eat all of the food that was put inside your body will turn into fat. And this is terrible because than you are gaining more body waste. You should wait for at least 2 hours after you eat to exercise. Or if you exercise in the morning eat like a little banana than wait for about 15 minutes than you can start exercising, because a little banana is fine to eat in the morning before you eat. But you should still wait for at least 15 minutes before you start exercising.

3.) Exercise- This next tip is probably the most talk about tip ever to speed up your metabolism and that is to exercise. You should always be exercising for one to two hours each and every single day. Exercising has a lot dealing with speeding up your metabolism. It really is the best way to speed up your metabolism and burn away those fats. It makes your body eliminate waste and burn fats a lot faster. Than, if you keep exercising regularly everyday your body will get use to your new developed faster metabolism. Yoga is one of the best exercise along with running for speeding up your metabolism. So when you are speeding up your metabolism you are becoming skinnier, which is what everyone wants when they want your metabolism; because your body are burning away waste and fats through sweats and working out.

4.) Healthy Snacking- You should eat every 3 hours, because it will keep your metabolism going. It also helps so that you won't overeat. A lot of people overeat at one meal, because they are going through hours of not eating. People overeat when they go pass 3 hours without eating, because they get really hungry then they tend to eat a lot faster which means you are eating more food because you are eating the food faster which can cause overeating a lot of the times. Your body needs foods faster than you expected to speed up your metabolism and burning out those fats. So you should be snacking every 3 hours after your meals of the days. Although, you should only be snacking healthy foods every single day not chips, candies, chocolate or any junk food. These foods has not proteins or nutritions, meaning they can't help with speeding up your metabolism as if you were to eat an apple.

5.) Drink Water Before, During and After Meals- You should stop eating your biggest meals of the days meaning breakfast, lunch and dinner when you are not full yet. Meaning you should not be eating until you are full, because that means you are eating a bit too much. Drinking water before, during and after really helps filled up your body with no calories, which makes you eat less because the water fill some parts of the stomach or wherever the foods goes to. So when you are eating your three biggest meals of the days, you should stop eating a bit before you are full than you should drink water after that so than it can full you up faster with no calories. So drink a lot of water before, during and after your meals. It also helps with you not overeating with your next biggest meal of the day, because your body will get use to the little amount of food that you are feeding your body so you get full fast meaning you are eating less food and getting full faster.

6.) Breakfast Biggest Meal- Your breakfast should be your biggest meal of the day. Because everyday you should be sleeping for at least to the most 8-10 hours. Meaning, you are going through 8-10 hours without eating. So if you eat a big breakfast you won't get hungry fast throughout the day and it also helps with you not eating a lot for lunch and dinner because you are already kind of full from breakfast. So basically, breakfast will start off your metabolism for the day.

7.) Stay Away from Unhealthy Foods- Unhealthy foods has no good for you and it also helps slow down your metabolism. This is because it will not digest as good and fast as healthy foods.

8.) Be Healthy- Being healthy is good for everything. So being healthy will also help with speeding up your metabolism, since it is good for everything. To achieve, that you need to eat healthy and exercise regularly every single day of your life until you are very old that you can't exercise anymore.

My Morning and Evening Skincare Routine (ft. Pervonia Products)

Hey, everyone today I'll be doing an updated skincare routine. So to start off I'll let you guys know a bit about my skin to see if this routine may work for you as well or not. I have very oily combination skin. Every 2-3 months I go to my dermatologist to seek improvements on my skin, although my skin has improves a whole lot the last 1-2 years. And it is mostly all thank to my dermatologist. She had always recommend me great products to try out. So this month she actually introduce me to a new skincare line of products and it is "Pervonia" skincare cosmetics. And I still suffer from acne, but it has just gotten a lot better from time to time I will suffer from a few acne. Although, most of the time I don't really get acne. Pervonia products are a bit expensive, so I got a discount to the products since the place where my dermatologist is located actually sells Pervonia products. Since, I am her regular customer I guess, I mean I go to her for suggestions on my skin every 2-3 months. So I got a 10% discount out off the total price off all the Pervonia products that I bought. And I don't use all Pervonia products to get it out there, I do use a few other brands of skincare as well. And I actually tried out a new eye cream this time, because I've been sticking with my Clinique one for years as most of you may know. So I just really wanted to branch out for eye creams.

Morning Skincare:

Step 1: Every morning I will cleanse my face with lukewarm water than I would squirt out a few pumps of the "Pervonia Combination Skin Cleanser" on to the palm of my hand. I love the way my skin feels after I used it. I had seen results the morning I used it. My skin doesn't get oily as fast and everything about my skin just improved a lot since I started using this cleanser. It really balance out my oily combination skin and I don't see as much pimple as normal.

Step 2: After I cleanse my face I would towel dry my skin. Than, I would use the "Pervonia Combination Skin Lotion" every morning. This product says it is a lotion, but it is really a toner. But after you apply it on your skin it actually feels like a lotion so very unique. Basically, I would spray it on a cotton pad than I would apply it to my face, my neck and my ears. I know some people just spray it out of the tube, but I don't really like how that applies so I prefer my old typical way of how I had always apply a toner. Than, I just wait till it is 90% dry than I continue with my morning skincare routine.

Step 3: While, I am waiting for my toner to dry I apply my eye cream. The eye cream I am currently using is the "AmorePacific Moisture Bound Intensive Vitalizing Eye Complex" with my ring finger. This eye cream is crazily expensive, it is $125 and it is the most expensive eye cream I have ever seen on the market. But I hear many says that they really like AmorePacific eye creams and since it is really expensive it should do wonders for my skin. It claims to reduce puffiness and dark circles since it contains caffeine. It also claims that it hydrate your eyes and reduce signs of aging. It also says to protect your eyes from environmental aggressors. So I am loving this eye cream so far. I think that it is totally worth the investment. Step 4: Than, my fourth step every morning I apply my "Kate Somerville SPF 55 Serum Sunscreen" to my face, neck and ears. This product doesn't break me out and it is really light weight. I apply every morning whether I go out or just lounging around the house, because I don't know when I will be going outside throughout the day.

That is all everything I do for my skincare routine in the morning. It is not a lot at all compared to my evening skincare routine.

Evening Skincare:

Step 0.5: If I am wearing makeup that day, it is my first step that evening to use the "Sonia Kashuk Eye Makeup Remover". But I don't do this step everyday that is why it is call step 0.5 not step 1. So I just pour the eye makeup remover on to a cotton pad and just swoop off my eye makeup.

Step 1: I am still using my Clarisonic Mia with my cleanser every evening as usual. And I use the same cleanser that I use in the morning the "Pervonia Combinatio Skin Cleaner". I still use it like how I use it in the morning, but I am putting it on the Clarisonic Mia.

Step 1.5: Okay so moving on to step 1.5. I only do this once every week, because this is a pretty intense treatment. And I am talking about the PMD Personal Microderm System, this is an at home microderm abrasion system. I love it! This microderm system comes with two disk. It comes with a blue disk which is for sensitive skin and a green disk which is for tougher skin. I use the green disk, because I just think that it works better for my skin. But I do sometime use the sensitive skin disk. All you do is you plug it in to the wall and you turn it on. And you just want to find an area of skin and pull it a bit tight and just run it over. Now the PMD is really awesome, because you get the same results as a professional microderm abrasion; but you don't have to go into a doctor office and you can do everything right from your home. And I do avoid any active breakouts on my face, so I do not put this over any breakouts that are currently still healing. And I do this when my skin is 100% dry, so I just kind of towel dry it before doing this system.

Step 2: Than, I just tone my face, neck and ears with the "Pervonia Combination Skin Lotion". The toner/lotion will also help get rid of any excess makeup that is still left on my skin that the cleanser didn't take it all off. Than, I wait till it is about 90% dry than I continue with whatever I need to do with my face.

Step 3: While, I am waiting for the toner to dry I apply my "AmorePacific Moisture Bound Intensive Vitalizing Eye Complex" with my ring finger.

Step 4: Than, after my skin is about 90% dry from the lotion/toner I apply my "Pervonia Balancing Combination Skin Cream". I apply this all over my face and if I have a bit left I apply onto my neck and ears. I love this cream it really hydrate my skin, but it doesn't make my skin any oilier than it is because it is a really light face cream.

Step 4.5: After all of that, than if I have a really a pimple(s) that I think is about to develop during my sleep or if it is really big I would use my "Mario Badescu Drying Lotion". All I do is I take a q-tip and I dip it all the way down to the pink product at the bottom of the drying lotion than I take it back out and just dot it on the pimples. Becareful, not to sake the drying lotion because you don't want the pink lotion at the bottom to be mix up with the oil on the top or else it will not be effective. So I just leave it over night and you will have pink spot(s) on your face where you put the drying lotion. It is fine to me since it is night and no one will be seeing me and if they do it is either my friend if a I have a sleep over or my family members. Than, the pimple should be dried up and gone when you wake up in the morning. You can find Mario Badescu products at Ulta.

FORGOT Step: I almost forgot about my face mask, but I use the "Pervonia Balancing Combination Skin Mask". I love the mask a lot, I use it 2 time a week. I can actually feel it taking impurities out of my skin. I leave it on for 15 minutes and it has a wonderful smell. And I do this step after I cleanse my face with the Pervonia Combination Skin Cleanser. I avoid my eye areas, because it will be too harsh for skin around and on my eyes.

That is everything I do to my skin morning and night. I totally recommend any of the products that I use to anyone that are interested in them. Although, most of them are really expensive but it is worth the investments.

TAG: My Favorite Perfumes!!

You guys may know that I am totally obsess with perfumes or just fragrances overall. I have over 10 full size bottles of perfumes and I have like a bunch of samples of perfumes. So this shows that I really do love perfumes. I love it just as much as I love makeup, fashion and nail polishes. I've been wanting to do this "my favorite perfumes" tag since like late December. And I always says to myself that my next blog post is going to be a perfume tag, but that never happens. Although, today I finally have a chance to do it, so I hope you all love tags and perfumes just as much as I do. Now I do have to say that I don't use my perfumes according to seasons, but the perfumes I'll be mentioning just remind me of what the question is talking about. So I use all of my perfumes all year round, but I just like some more than others.

Questions:
1. What is your favorite winter scent?
My favorite winter scent is the "Elizabeth Arden Red Door" perfume. Somehow this scent just remind me of winter. And I would say that it is my favorite winter scent. I feel like it smells like a very sexy classic winter night and day.

2. On a lazy day I reach for...
When I feel very lazy or just don't know what perfume to wear. I mostly reach for the "Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue" perfume. It is a very fresh, light but still very crisp and attractive.

3. What would you use when you are going on a date?
I never ever went on a date, but if I was to go on a date. I would totally use the "Aum Patcharapa Sexy Night" perfume. It is a very sexy date night scent. A very attractive scent in my opinion actually. Although, I think that you can only order it online if you don't live in Thailand or somewhere in Asia.

4. What is your high school signature scent?
I never had a signature scent when I was in high school. Although, my most love perfume was the "Victoria's Secret Incredible" scent. That was my favorite scent during when I was in high school. I still love it, but I have my new current love now.

5. What's your current love?
My current love perfume is the "Coach Poppy Flower" perfume. I just bought it yesterday, but I can tell that it is going to be my current love for the rest of the month.

6. What is your favorite summer scent?
My favorite summer scent so far is the "Hollister & Co. SoCal". My other favorite summer scent is the "DKNY Be Delicious" perfume, specifically the one in the green bottle. I live in Southern California, so these scents totally remind me of the summer here.

7. Name a perfume that you regret buying.
I don't have a perfume that I regret buying. Because when I buy a perfume I really smell it and think about it, whether it is worth it or not. If I don't think that it is worth I won't buy it. And if I order it online I do a lot of research about it. I read the scents description and read reviews of what other people think about it. So I am very happy with all of my perfumes.

8. What perfume is on your wish list?
I actually have 2 perfumes that are on my wish list right now. The first one is the "Sex In The City Love by Sex In The City" perfumes, because I adore Sex In The City movies and books. My second perfume wishlist is the "Sirene by Vicky Tiel" perfume. I have been eyeing this perfume for a few weeks now, because I have read many reviews that this is a perfect year round scent. They never gotten tired of it and it actually have become a few of people signature scent. But I don't think that I'll be buying any of these perfumes anytime soon.

Haul: Nordstrom, Express and Forever 21

Earlier today I went to the mall and I went to three stores if you can't tell already by the title. I went to Nordstrom, Express and Forever 21. I will start off with Nordstrom and so on like the way I went to the stores when I was at the mall. And I did get a few of the things for free by gift cards that I had received as Christmas presents, but I did bought some stuff with my own money.

Nordstrom:

1.) Hobo International "Vintage Becka" Crossbody Bag- If you didn't know already my new year resolution that I made in 2010 for 2011 was that I will never ever buy a new purse or clutch in 2011. Because if you've followed me on twitter back in 2010 I used to do hauls on there and I would seriously buy like 10 purses in a year. So in 2011 I haven't bought ANY purse or clutch at all. So since this is not 2011 anymore, that resolution is over so I can buy a new purse now. But I really wanted something different this time, so I decided to get a long flat crossbody bag by Hobo International. And I believe that it just came out in Nordstrom and the color that I got it in is light nude color called "Fawn". This is because Spring is just right around the corner so lights colors are going to be so in, but light nude color like this bag is in all year round whether it is fall or spring. So that is why I decided to choose it, because of the color I can wear it all year round. They also have other colors like black and caramel, but I already have a ton of purses in those colors. And they also have a few other bright colorful colors, but I am never going to wear like a bright pink purse since it is just too hard to find an outfit that will match it. And this purse is a bit expensive than what you will find at stores like Urban Outfitters, because the quality are just incomparable. But it is on the more inexpensive side for a brand name purse.

2.) Coach Poppy Flower Perfume Spray- I have one of Coach original fragrance from like a few years ago and I still have it, because I have so many other perfumes that I don't use it everyday. Although, I do love Coach fragrances so I decided to get their "Poppy Flower" perfume spray. I got the 3.4 oz size since this perfume is so light, fresh and floral. Great for everyday use, so I can tell that I'll be using this a lot this month and during the spring and summer as well.

Express: I got a $100 gift cards to Express so I did some major shopping there the most than Nordstrom and Forever 21.

1.) Keyhole Halter Dress- The first thing that I bought at Express was a coral and taupe color halter keyhole dress. I love this dress to death, I feel like it really accentuate my height and size. I am really tall and skinny as I've said. So I love dresses, because I think that it really brings out my body in a good way. I also love how it is a summer color, so I can wear it in the spring and summer. But I can also wear it in the fall and winter if I layer it with like a scarf. And that is one of the most important thing for me when I go shopping for clothes. I really want to make sure that it is wearable for all seasons, but obviously I do have clothes that are only best for certain season. And if you are curious what my dress size is I am usually a 4 in most dresses or a small in this one. And I am pretty sure I am around a 34 for dress size in European.

2.) Purple Floral Chiffon Shirt Dress- This next dress I bought is also wearable for all season in my opinion. And both of the dresses that I bought are in the same size and they both hit me about 2-3 inches above my knees, so not too long or too short at all.

3.) Zelda Jean Leggings- I bought two Zelda Jean Leggings in Light Pink and Nude. Because they were buy one get one 50% off and they have it in two other shades which were bright red and bright blue. But I already have pants in red and blue, so it was not worth it to buy more. And bright color pants are really in right now and will be in till at least summer.

4.) Braided Leather Skinny Belt- And Express belts are really expensive compared to Forever 21. But I only bought one belt so it was okay. And I don't have any belt in this color at all and it is a "light coral reef" color. They have it in a light brown color, but I already have so many other belts in that color so it wasn't worth it to splurge on another similar one.

5.) Abstract Print Chiffon Scarves- They were also have a buy one get one 50% off with their scarves like they did with their zelda jeans. So I bought the same kind of scarves, but in different colors. I bought one in blue and one in pink. And the patterns are very feminine and elegant.

6.) Filigree Butterfly Necklace- Express were also have a buy one get one 50% off with their accessories so I of course had to get a few accessories. The first accessory I bought was a big statement piece butterfly necklace. And I seriously have NOTHING like this at all in my accessories collection, so that was the first thing that caught my eyes.

7.) Short Feather and Bead Necklace- The last necklace that I bought was is a very unique piece that is very hard to find at a lot of stores. So I had to snatch it up since it was the only one that they had left. This one is very bohemian, but I can definitely make it into a fall/winter piece.

8.) Multi Tone Dangling Disc Earrings- Now for earrings, I bought this very nice and unique earrings. It is definitely very unique. I haven't seen anything like it before. And this earrings is perfect for me since it has both golds and silvers colors in it, because I suit both warm and cool colors.

9.) Chain and Cord Feather Dangling Earrings- The last earrings that I bought was also a very unique pair like most Express accessories. It is just absolutely gorgeous.

10.) Multi Stone and Pave Fireball Rings Set- The first ring that I bought is a rings set stacked on top of one another. The colors that it has are silver and light tiffany blue.

11.) 7 Rings Set- The last rings that I bought came with a set of seven. Very similar to the last one that I just hauled, but somehow different. This one is mostly pure gold, but of course it is not realed with some silver diamonds studs to it.

12.) Gold Cutout Metal Godess Cuff- The second to last accesorry piece that I bought is not that unique, but I don't have it in my collection yet. And that is a cutout cuffs. I bought a gold one, because I don't really like the look of the silver one as much.

13.) Pearl and Rhinestone Stretch Bracelet- The last bracelet that I bought is a stretch bracelet with a big bow. Very unique because I seriously have not seen any bracelet that has a big bow as big as this one. And it is a pearl color so black and pearl. They have another one of this in a more spring colors, but it didn't have a bow so it wasn't that awesome as this one.

14.) Limited Edition Lipglosses Set- The second to last products that I bought are lipglosses that is only exclusive to the set. The colors it came with are Iced Sugar, Currant Tonic and Peppermint Mist. I have never tried any Express makeup before, so I am very excited.

15.) Limited Edition Nail Polishes Set Collection- The very last thing that I got from Express are 3 nail polishes trio. It come with basic colors like light pink, teal and purple. I also haven't tried any Express nail polishes before, but I am hoping it is worth the $16 that I paid for it, or else I will be very upset with Express.

Forever 21:

1.) Lace Peplum Dress- I of course had to go to the dress section at Forever 21. And I found this really cute fitted coral and black lace peplum dress. And it was not that expensive compared to Express dresses.

2.) Striped Longline Open Cardigan- Than, the last clothing item that I bought was a white with little black and white stripes at the wrists and near the bottom of the cardigan.

3.) Love & Beauty Nail Polishes- I've heard a lot about the Forever 21 Love & Beauty nail polishes and I myself already owned two of the polishes. And for only $2.80 each the polishes were crazily pigmented, but I am pretty sure it all depends on the color. Since, that happens to every brand of nail polishes there will be some that are really pigmented, but there are also some that is like so sheer that like 3 coats of it is barely enough. So I got 3 more colors they are Royal Burgundy, Seafoam and Perfect Pewter.

4.) Love & Beauty I Love Chunky Glitter Nail Polishes Set- My all time favorite things about nails are glitters and nail polishes. So I of course had to get their glitter nail polishes set, because it has 2 of my favorite things about nails(nail polishes and glitters). And it comes with 7 small glitter nail polishes. They each are .44 fluid ounces if you are wondering.

That was everything that I bought at Forever 21 and the mall. Hope you all enjoyed it. I won't be having another haul maybe until next month or in a few more weeks.

Diamond Candles Haul

Hey, guys today I am doing a candles haul. I am so in love with candles and now that it is officially winter. The weathers are getting a lot colder, which makes my addiction even stronger. I love burning my candles especially at night and early in the morning. It makes the temperature a lot warmer in my room and it smells like heaven. I just love everything about candles. 1.) Cozy Cabin- This first candle that I ordered totally smells likes it is called it smells very earthy, warm and there is definitely a vanilla.

2.) Cinnamon Roll- This next candle also smells like how it is called cinnamon roll. It smells like straight up cinnamon and very sweet.

3.) Cinnamon Tea- The third candle that I ordered smells like a crispy cinnamon tea.

4.) Gingerbread Latte- I love latte and just coffee and gingerbread so something of that sort. So I was absolutely so excited to get a candle that smells like a best of both world to me, a gingerbread and a latte.

5.) Cupcake- This next candle is sweet and simple it smells like a sweet healthy cupcake, if you know what I mean.

6.) Fresh Snow- Now I had to get this next candle. Because one of my all time favorite thing are snow. And "fresh snow" just remind me of a fresh pepperminty white Christmas.

7.) Apple Slice- I also love how apple smells. Especially, the green citrusy one. And faster than you know it spring is going to be here. And "apple slice" just remind me of that.

After Christmas Beauty Haul: Target, Ulta and Sally's Beauty Supply

Hello there! I am back from my Christmas break vacation in Tennessee. I actually came yesterday, but I just used my Christmas money today. I was just so worn out yesterday that I was too tired even for shopping. Which probably all of you may know already, I am such a shopaholic. It is one of my favorite hobby, but it is really bad so I need to learn to cut it out. Anyway, I'm going to stop rambling now and get started into the haul. Keep in mind that I bought 90% of everything in this haul with my Christmas money. Because my X'mas money wasn't enough so I had to use some of my own. The stores that I went to are Target, Sally's Beauty Supply and Ulta.

Target:

1.) L'Oreal Infallible 24HR Eyeshadows- So a few days ago I saw a flowerbomb31 video on YouTube reviewing the new L'Oreal cream shadows. And she says that they are a drugstore dupe for the Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kills cream shadows. And if you know me I absolutely love the Eyes to Kills, although they are a bit expensive. So I just had to snatch up a few of the L'Oreal takes on it. The colors that I picked up are Golden Sage, Perpetual Purple, Sultry Smoke, Midnight Blue and Infinite Sky.

2.) L'Oreal Infallible 8HR Plumping Gloss- I also heard a lot of the L'Oreal Infallible plumping lip glosses. So I decided to picked up 2 of the glosses in Plumping Red and Plumping Brown.

3.) Maybelline Baby Lips- The next products that I picked up are the Maybelline Baby Lips. I saw an add for this randomly somewhere, but I was never interested in them since they kind of look cheap. No offend to Maybelline. But than there started to be raves about them, so I picked up 2 of the Baby Lips in Peppermint and Grape Vine. Just to see if it was overrated or not.

4.) Maybelline Eye Studio Color Plush Silk Eyeshadow Quads- Many gurus all seem to like the Maybelline Silk Eyeshadows Quads, so it had been on my drugstore wishlist for a few weeks. So I picked up 3 of the quads in Give Me Gold, Spirited Seas and Sapphire Siren. And I totally agree with them, I swatched all of the shadows when I got home and they are super creamy and pigmented.

5.) Physicians Formula Bronze Booster Glow Boosting Pressed Bronzer- After the NYC bronzers, Physicians Formula also seem to get good hypes on their bronzers. One of the guru I watched on YouTube recommend the Bronze Booster Bronzer for her subbies, so I picked it up in Light to Medium.

6.) Wet n' Wild Color Icon Eyeshadows Collections Quads- The next products that I picked up I already have one of them in Petal Pusher. And I was so impress with how cheap, but amazing qualities they are. That I had to picked up the rest they had, so I picked up Blue Had Me At Hello and Comfort Zone.

7.) Wet n' Wild Color Icon Lip Liner- I watch a ton of gurus on YouTube and one of the guru that I adore really like Wet n' Wild lip liners. I was never interested in them since I already have other great lip liners, but I decided to give them a go since they are only a $1. The color that I picked up is Fab Fuchsia, because I felt that it will go with a lot of lip colors.

8.) ELF Shimmer Palette- I am always on the look out for new makeup products. I am a huge fan of carahamelie03 videos on YouTube and she love the ELF Shimmer Palette so freaking much that she recommend it to anybody. So I decided to try it just incase I'll be a huge fan of it as well and it was only $3 at my local Target and you get to have 4 highlighters so I was like heck yeah. And it only comes with one shades of the shimmer palette.

9.) ELF Mineral Lipsticks- While, I was at Target I HAD to picked up a few of the ELF Mineral Lipsticks, because seriously everyone loves them. And I have a few of them already, so I already knew how great they were. So I picked up 2 more shades that I didn't own already and they are Rosy Raisin and Beautiful Berry. These lipsticks each were $5 and they are super great quality, definitely one of the best drugstore lipsticks on the market.

10.) ELF Super Glossy Lip Shines- I am a huge fan of ELF and I have their knockoff of the Stila lip glazes lip glosses, so I had to picked up a few more of their glosses in other forms. This time I picked up the Super Glossy Lip Shines in Mauve Luxe, Pink Pop, Party Peach, Juiced Berry and Honey Do. These were only $1 each so basically I got 5 high quality glosses for only $5. I am really impressed with these glosses.

11.) Rimmel London Kate Collection Lipsticks- I love Rimmel lipsticks, all of their lipsticks literally feels like heaven. They are super moisturizing and pigmented. So I picked up 4 of their newer lipsticks from the Kate Collection and they are #12, #2, #4 and #5. I am not sure if they have names, but I don't think they do.

12.) Rimmel London Exaggerate Automatic Lip Pencil- I am not so sure why I am so into drugstore lip pencils lately. But today I picked up a Rimmel one in Eastend Snob. I hear flowerbomb31 says that it is her all time favorite lip pencil, so I had to picked it up for myself.

13.) L'Oreal Extra-Intense Liquid Pencil Eyeliner- I have heard that the L'Oreal Extra-Intense Liquid Pencil Eyeliners are a really good if not better dupes for the MAC Eye Kohls. And I love the MAC Smolder and Feline eye kohls, so I just had to picked up the liquid pencil liners.

14.) Sonia Kashuk Hidden Agenda Concealers Palette- This next product I've only heard carahamelie03 talked about and she really liked it. That's why I decided to take her recommendation and try it out for myself. I of course got it in the lightest shade that they have, because my skin is pretty light.

15.) Sonia Kashuk Eye Makeup Remover- The last thing that I bought from Target is pretty boring, it's nothing special basically it is just a Sonia Kashuk Eye Makeup Remover. I hear many people rave about the Neutrogena one, but they seem to like the Sonia Kashuk more. So I decided to go with the Sonia Kashuk from people, since I never really used an eye makeup remover in my life. Believe it or not I don't even own an eye makeup remover. I was planning on getting the Lancome one, but I am not going to spend over $20 just on an eye makeup remover. I heard many gurus says that it is really great at taking all of the eye makeup off. I just used it tonight and I totally agree with them.

Ulta:

1.) Prestige Cosmetics Skin Loving Minerals Lasting Moisture Lip Glosses- Also, from carahamelie03 as well she recommended the Prestige Skin Loving Minerals Glosses. She says that it has a very similar texture to the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipglosses and I love the super lustrous glosses so I was so excited to find them at Ulta. So I picked up 5 of the glosses in Glistening Sand, Soft Peach, Delicate Muave, Tender Pink and Cozy Plum.

2.) Prestige Cosmetics Sun Baked Mineral Bronzing Powder- This next product is very similar to the Revlon Colorstay Mineralize powders as well as the MAC MSF. I also hear a lot of good things about it. And actually they were having a buy two get one for free, so I actually get to have all of the shades that are available. Which are Pure Shimmer, Rich Bronze and Glam Tan.

3.) NYX Single Eyeshadows- I am just straight out love NYX shadows, so I bought a few more of the single eyeshadows in the pot form when I went to Ulta. The shades that I bought were Luxor, Cherry, Smokie Mountain and Golden Dune.

4.) NYX Megashine Lip Glosses- I also really loved the megashine glosses also by NYX. So I bought 3 more shades in Dolly Pink, Chandelier and Cosmo. These are absolutely amazing quality and colors.

5.) L'Oreal HIP Eyeshadows Duos- I have almost all of the L'Oreal HIP eyeshadows duos and I love them all. I sometime will just take a few of them on a trip with me if I don't want to bother bringing any other eyeshadows. So to complete my collection I picked up 2 more that I didn't own yet in Flamboyant and Mystical.

Sally's Beauty Supply:

1.) Palladio Beauty Herbal Lip Glosses- Then, at Sally's I bought 3 Palladio Beauty Herbal Lipglosses in Sheer Bronze, Sunset and Facet. And seriously, these lipglosses are amazing which I know I said that to every lipglosses that I bought but it's true they are truly amazing high qualities glosses.

2.) Palladio Beauty Rice Paper- The only blotting face sheets that I ever used are the ones by Sephora and Clean & Clear. So I really wanted to branch out by using other brands and I heard everyone that had tried the Rice Paper by Palladio rave about them. So I picked up a pack of them for only $4

3.) Palladio Beauty Mosaics- Last but not least I bought 3 mosaics also by Palladio in Fairy Pink, Pink Truffle and Sun Kissed. I also really like these.

Updated How to Walk in Heels!

A few days ago, one of my relatives says about how singers dance in heels so professionally. And this just pop in my mind on doing my updated of "how to walk in heels". But if you want more tips than you can check out my original version of this. Lets get started into the tips and tricks.

If you've notice many female Korean Pop singers and American singers like the disbaned group the Pussycat Dolls walk and dance in heels so professionally. And the trick is that they run in them as part of their training and exercising. I wouldn't recommend this to everyone since it can be dangerous. You can break your bones, hurt or injured yourself. But the singers are lucky that they have trainers to look and watch after them that they won't injured themselves. But obviously they have fallend running in heels on the treadmill.

And you heard me right, "RUNNING IN HEELS ON THE TREADMILLS". And this is to no particular singers. It is just that some of them do use this trick.

TAG: 32 Questions Get to Know Me

About a week ago, on some random blog I saw this girl she did an interesting questionaire tag. I totally loved it, so I quickly jotted down the questions. So I decided why not do it today, since I am pretty relax in my room? And it is just a really easy simple go with the flow blog post. And I overall just love tags. They're one of my all time favorite type of posts to do. Hope you all will enjoy it, like I did!

1.) Is it cute when guys kiss you on your forehead?
Yes, yeah! Definitely! I think that is one of the cutest action ever.

2.) A big poofy dress or a short party dress? I overall, prefer short party dresses over bif poofy dresses. Because I think that big poofy dresses are so outdated. But it all depend on where I am going, than I'll prefer which type over which. But overall, I like short party dresses way better.

3.) Are diamonds a girl's best friend?
Totally NOT! I don't think that every girl needs to wear or own diamond(s) in their resident home. Personally, I am not a fan of diamond because I feel like they are too fancy for everyday life. I feel like they suit older women more. So I don't think that diamonds are a girl's best friend.

4.) Is your hair up or down today?
My hair is up today. I just put it in a messy bun and called it good.

5.) Do you straighten your hair?
Obviously, I do. Although, I don't straighten it everyday like today for example.

6.) Favorite mascara?
Definitely, the Fairydrops Scandal Queen Mascara. It has been my all time favorite mascara since fall of 2010 and it is now January 2012. So it has been a pretty long time favorite for me.

7.) Do you get your nails done?
Not really. Although, I do get it done. I usually only get it done when I REALLY have to. Like for fancy events or on special occasions. I just don't out of the blue go to a salon to get it done, because that can add up.

8.) Small or large purses?
Well, this question depends on how small and how large the purses you are referring to. Personally, I am not a fan of small purses. I feel like larger purses are more fashionable and my taste. So I guess I would say large purses like a Balenciaga, Guess or XOXO brands usually make.

9.) Jeans or sweats?
I am both a jean and sweats girl. I love both equally. But sweats are way more comfortable than jeans, no matter what brands of jeans they are. But jeans can sometime be way more stylish than sweats. So I can't really answer this one for you.

10.) Do you wear clothes/shoes/jewelry that's uncomfortable?
Occasionally, I will but that is really rare. Because most of my clothes, shows and jewelries are comfortable.

11.) Do you text message a lot?
Not really. I am more of a talk on the phone girl, than a texting girl. It is just way easier for me, but people have different opinions on this.

12.) Whats your favorite color?
I love pink, purple and gold. But I would say I love pink and gold the most, than purple.

13.) Heels or flats? I love heels a whole lot more than flats. I also wear them more, but I sometime do wear flats. I would say that I wear heels 30% more than flats or shoes that doesn't have any heels at all.

14.) Would you ever leave the house without makeup on?
Duh! I obviously will and have leave my house without no makeup on. Although, I ALWAYS have a lip balm or chapstick on my lips whenever I leave my house. But I'm not sure if that's count as makeup or not.

15.) Walmart or Target?
I love Target more, but I still do love Walmart.

16.) Do you think lip gloss is the best!?
Yes, I would say that lipgloss is the best makeup ever along with BB Creams and mascaras.

17.) Do you own any big sunglasses?
I own a TON of big sunglasses, I tell ya. I love big sunglasses so much. You have no idea how much pairs of them I have. I am not into small sunglasses like the 1990s or just ones that look smaller than my faces.

18.) How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
Depend on how much I want to dress up. But on a regular day it will take me a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes to do whatever I have to do in the morning. Which may seem a lot for some, but it will also sound not so much for some.

19.) Gold or silver?
My favorite makeup artist says that I look good in both gold and silver, since I have neutral undertone. But I just love the color gold better and for accessories I love gold just a tiny bit more.

20.) Do you like to wear dresses?
Was this question was like made for me or something? Of course, I love dresses. It is the first thing I go to every morning and if I am packing for a trip.

21.) In the last 48 hours have you hung out with a guy?
Well, I have hung out with a guy but he is not my boyfriend and I also didn't hung out by just myself and him. There were a few other relatives and friends with us.

22.) Do you like to hold hands?
No. The only person that I probably like to hold hands with are little kids or if my boyfriend if I have one. Because I feel like that just look awkward.

23.) What do you notice when you first meet a guy?
I notice his face shape. You have no idea how much I look at a guy's face shape. It is the first thing I notice about a guy when I first meet him.

24.) Do you like making eye contact?
Only with a certain person and when I should be making eye contact. Although, I don't really like them I feel it is also a bit weird for me.

25.) Would you kill for chocolate?
No! No! No! I don't really like chocolate that much. So I would SO NOT kill myself just for chocolate.

26.) On a scale from 1-10 how fun is shopping?
10! 10! 10! and infinity 10! I absolutely LOVE shopping. It is one of my favorite hobbies. Which, is really one of my bad hobbies because the economy is really bad right now and I should not be spending my money that much for it to become a hobby. But I do.

27.) Do you yell a lot?
No, I am not the type of girl that yell a lot. Believe it or not, whenever I tried to talk louder like some people in classes at school I get really tired. So for me to yell a lot, that's not going to happen.

28.) Do you wear sweatpants/pajamas to school/work?
Yes, I have wore pajamas to school. I wore pajamas when it was pajamas days at my school. And I have wore sweatpants to school and work on days I feel like to.

29.) Have you ever dressed unlike yourself to impress a guy?
I think that every girl have, I believe. And I used to be one of those girls. But since I have grown up now. I don't really want to change my style just to impress a guy.

30.) What makeup could you not live without?
BB Creams! I mean who doesn't want their skin to look perfect? I know I want my skin to look flawless.

31.) Do you fall in love easily?
No. I have not find my true love, but I am only 18 years old if that counts.

32.) Do you have cramps?
I will sometime. But I don't have cramps that often or easily.

33.) Do you think you have the bestest friend ever?
Of course! For the past few years and currently I am surrounded by the bestest of the bestest friends ever! They are so dependable, honest and reliable. I can ALWAYS turn to them. So it would be a YEAH! for this question.
