It feels like forever since the last time I did a blog post dedicated only to my lovely hair products. So this will be like my "hair care routine," but not really at the same time. I will just be talking about the hair products that I currently love using. There are a few honorable mentions that I love as well. Before I start, I want to address that my hair is very thick and dry. My hair used to be very oily, but somehow since this Spring it has been acting up and became very dry. I wash my hair every other day, because my hair would dry out too much if I wash it everyday.
Haircare Products:
NuMe Hydrating Shampoo & Conditioner- These are such investment products, because they are $24.99 each and you cannot something that you can pick up from the drugstore. I bought mine online through NuMe official website, but I'm pretty sure you can find it at some salons. For the product themselves, I would rate them 5 stars out of 5. They really hydrate my hair without being too greasy or weighing it down. It has Moroccan Argan Oil which is a good ingredient for your hair, especially if you have dry and damage hair. It helps replenish your hair to a perfect limit that you desire.
For masks I switched off between two different products. One week I use one mask and then the next week I use the second mask. I really try to balance out my hair so that I can treat the dryness, the damaged, and sun protection all together. I do hair mask once every week and I leave it on for 15 minutes.
Kerastase Resistance Masque Force Architecte- This is to treat damaged hair, so this is really good for the split ends.
Kerastase Soleil Masque UV Defense Active- This mask is especially necessary during this time of the year, because the sun is out all day and I am also out all day. It helps treat my hair after a long week in the sun. The sun has a huge effect on your hair just as much as it does for your skin.
Wen by Chaz Dean Sweet Almond Mint Replenishing Treatment Mist- This is the only product I put into my hair after I take a shower when my hair is not completely dry. I wait about 45 minutes till my hair is damp and than I just spray it generously and liberally all over my hair. You can locate Wen products at Sephora.
Eden Allure Pure Argan Oil From Morocco- I apply it to my midshaft down and I do it everyday when my hair is completely dry. I am not sure where you can buy it, because I ordered mine off of Eden Allure official website.
Stlying/Honorable Mention:
Wen by Chaz Dean Sweet Almond Mint Anti-Frizz Styling Cream- I only use this when I am trying to do my hair, but it is acting up. Like sometimes I might get little baby hairs standing up, so I put this on to control it.
Cibu Sashini Thermal Shine Solution- This is a heat protectant that adds shine and silkiness to the hair. I believe you can only order it off of Cibu official website.
I currently have 2 favorite hairsprays that I switch on and off between. They both spells great and hold curls very well.
Big Sexy Hair Spray & Stay Intense Hold Hairspray
L'Oreal Elnett Satin Hairspray Extra Strong Hold w/UV filter for Color Treated Hair- Although this is meant for people that colored their hair, I still use it anyway. It helps my hair from the sun rays when I am out and about.
I most of the time washes my hair every other day. However, sometime I might go 3-4 days without washing hair and I still want it to look fresh, I will use a dry shampoo.
Lush No Drought Dry Shampoo- I just bought it 2 weeks ago, because many people were raving about it. It works great and it doesn't leave a white or grey cast even if you have very dark to jet black hair is what I hear people says. So if you have dark hair, I would say to just give it a try if you are interested.
These are the products that I have been loving lately for my hair!
