So, I saw this tag done by a few gurus on YouTube. I decided to do it since I haven't done tags in a while and thought that it would just be a fun post to do while I am constantly flying on the airplanes and staying in hotels. Before I get into the actual tag, I just want to put a disclaimer out there that I am NOT an expert on any of these topics. So don't take my advice too seriously, because I am not expert on the topics of hair, makeup, or skin.
1. What is one product that makes you feel like you are a million bucks?
I would say that the most important thing in makeup is a nice-looking skin, so first check if your skin is perfected if you are going to be wearing makeup. So to have a pretty skin, the foundation that I would use is the Clarins Extra-Firming Foundation SPF 15. This is my all time favorite liquid foundation, it is full coverage but feels a lot lighter than what a full coverage foundation is suppose to be. The color selection isn't all that great, but you can of course mix and match it to fit your complexion. The reason why I pick this over a bb cream is because it gives more coverage, and so that means it will makes your skin look better than a bb cream would.
2. What is your skincare secret?
A skincare secret that I've learned pretty recently over the summer is to wash your face three times a day. Even though everyone says to wash your face no more than twice a day, but if you think about it, especially on a hot summer day. Let say you wash your face 6 o'clock in the morning, and than by the time it is 2 o'clock your face gets very oily and full of dirt again. And if you don't wash it by that time, your face will be keeping that dirt for 4-5 more hours till you wash it again in the evening or at night. And the more dirt and oil it builds up on your face, the more pimples and acne will be forming. This tricks really works for me over the summer since my face is already oily to begin with, and adding to that is the hot summer heat.
3. Share your hair care secret?
This one is really hard for me, since I am not that into hair as I do into my skincare and makeup. But I've finally come up with something, and I don't think that many people realizes this. You know how sometime when you comb your hair after you get out of the shower and it can be very tangle and hard to comb, a trick that can help untangle your hair a bit is your brush or comb it out thoroughly before you get into the shower and start shampooing your hair. And to that, when you get out of the shower make sure you are combing your hair with a wide tooth comb and starat combing it from the bottom up. The reason why I comb my hair bottom up after the shower is so that when I get to the top, my hair won't have any tangle or have as much tangle than if I was to comb it up down. Because you already untangle all of the tangles at the bottom, so when you go higher, your hair won't have to tangle with the bottom tangles since you've already untangle them. Hopefully you guys will understand what I'm trying to point out here.
4. What is your biggest diet rule?
My biggest diet rule is probably to eat smaller portions of everything you want to eat and not to eat until you are full. You guys will understand why if you do more research about it, it is just really hard for me to explain it since I am not an expert on dieting.
5. Any workout tips?
My number one workout tip is to workout at least 3 times a week. So that means, pick three days out of 7 days a week and exercise for at least an hour on that selected day. If you are planning on loosing weight or just get fit in, you will see results in about a month if you do this constantly every week.
6. Which perfume is your secret weapon?
I have a lot of perfumes, so to just pick one perfume is really hard. But I finally roll it down to the Victoria's Secret Secret Charm Perfume. To me, it is everything that I would want in a perfume: innocence, elegancy, sexy, charming, and edgy. Now you would be like, how could all of these go together since they are all opposite of each other, but to me it really smells very sexy but has that innocence and elegant girl feeling to it.
7. Show us a clothing item of yours which always turns heads
The one clothing item that makes everyone look at me all the time is my white ruffle top romper. I am so serious about this, both guys and girls looks at me whenever I wear this. Whether it is at school or just hanging out at the mall.
8. What is your most treasured piece of jewelry?
My most treasured piece of jewelry is a pink and purple bracelet that my dad gave to me in the summer of 2009. Although it is not exactly a jewelry, but it worth more than any of the jewelries I have. It might not be the most expensive and in style thing, but the only thing that matters is the warmth that was gave with it to me.
9. Who is your style crush?
My number one style crush would be Im Yoona from the South Korean girl group "Girls' Generation" aka "SNSD". One of the many reasons why she is my style crush is because we have very similar body shape. It's just that I am quite a bit taller than her. 10. Tell us something we don't know about you
Something that you guys probably don't know about me is that I am majoring in Business Administration in college. My dream job is to be a flight attendant. I used to wanted to be in the entertainment career and hold a major in being a makeup artist.
