Soft, Neutral Look w/a Pop ft. the Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette
I know that many of you makeup lovers out there have the Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette. That's why I decided to do this really nice soft and neutral makeup look using eyeshadows from the palette. And if you don't, don't feel left out there are still many dupes for the eyshadows. But I just recommend going out and invest in this palette. It is totally worth the rave that everyone has for it. Although, I'm not sure if they are still in stores, since it came out like 1-2 months ago at Sephora, Ulta and online and it was limited edition. But I'm pretty sure you can find it somewhere, like ebay. Anyway, back to the palette, I know that there are quite a few colorful eyeshadows in the palette and some of you out there might get overwhelm. So I am going to do this tutorial to show that you can still get everyday look with the palette and not get overwhelm, but still have a pop of color.
1.) First, just start of by priming your lid. For this look, I really recommend using the Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden.
2.) Next, take any flat stiff eyeshadow brush with Midnight 15 and just pack it on your lid and lightly into the inner corner.
3.) Then, take a crease brush with Midnight Rodeo and apply it lightly into your crease to define your eyes.
4.) Now take a small outer v brush with M.I.A and apply this eyeshadow into the outer corner of your eyes.
5.) Then, just take a fluffy blending brush and just blend everything out, until you can't blend no more.
6.) Now for the fun part take the same outer v brush we used for the outer corner and just clean it with a tissue paper and than go in with Deep End and just apply it on your lower lash line, stopping about 1/3 of the way in.
7.) With a highlighting brush take Vanilla and highlight your brow bone with it.
8.) Take a gel eyeliner, my favorite is the Bobbi Brown Gel Liner in Black Ink and just line your upper lash line with it. Make sure it is thinner in the inner corner and gets thicker as it goes out into the outer corner.
9.) Now just curl your lashes and apply a coat of your favorite black mascara.
Cheeks:
For the cheeks, just any light pink blush will work.
Lips:
And for your lips any light pink lip color or a nude lip color will work, make sure your lips aren't matte. Try to make it glossy by applying a lipgloss either a lone or on top of a lipstick or lip stain.
