What's in my Carry On Purse?

In just a few days I'll be leaving the United States, so I wanted to show you guys what I'll be bringing with me on the airplane. The carry on bag that I am bringing with me is the Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Speedy 40 with Shoulder Strap. This purse are one of the most expensive purses and probably things that I own. Although to tell you, it is totally worth it and is such an investment. I travel a lot, especially on airplanes, so I take this purse with me whenever I travel. Whether it is just a family road trip, or sometime I go on business trips. Lets get started and I want to say that I do bring my laptop with me, but I carry it in its laptop case.

1.) "Pretty Little Secrets" by Sara Shepard- This is the book that I am currently reading along with two other books, but I thought that this book suit the airplane more. I am about 12 pages into it, so it will take me sometime to finish it. Which is great, because I sometime don't really know what to do on the airplane. So I always bring a book with me whenever I am on an airplane, and it is going to be an 18 hour long flight.

2.) iPhone- My phone and iPod is just a necessary item for me on the plane, I seriously cannot survive without it. It has all of my important information on it, and it has most of my entertainments on it as well. So definitely my iPhone, cannot forget about that.

3.) Earphones- Need this for my iPhone to listen to music, but I know that sometime airplanes offer you free headphones. I still like mine more though.

4.) Neck Pillow- Being on an 18 hours flight is very tiring, so I definitely need to get some rest. And for me, I cannot go to sleep if I don't wear a neck pillow. It is so hard to sleep on an airplane if I don't have something to support my neck, because the seats you can't bend back that far to be comfortable. I have a comfortable one from Target, I got it in a bed set 3 years ago.

5.) Eye Cases- I bring both my eyeglasses case and my sunglasses case. This is so so important or else I will break them into pieces.

6.) 2 Small Plastic Ziploc Bag:
- Contact Case and Travel Contact Solution
- Travel Size Skincare Routine Products
- Travel Size SPF Moisturizer and Body Lotion
- Travel Size deodorant
- Eye Drops
- SPF Chapstick
 - Hair Ties
- Travel Size compact brush and mirror

This is all that I am bringing in my carry one purse, so basically just everything that I will be bringing onto the plane with me. The reason that I won't be bringing any makeup is, because my mom just called our travel agent and the lady said that the airline will be throwing 90% away of our makeup. So not to involve with the hassle, I decided not to bring any makeup or wear any makeup on the plane.

My Top Favorite Foundations

I haven't all the foundations there are out there, but I've tried enough to suggest my top. I grew up in a family that every female loves makeup, especially my mom. My mom was the person that introduces me to makeup and along with my older sisters. So living with them is like living in a makeup store full of makeup and new products to try. My mom was always trying out new foundations every month. This is where I get my hobby from and why I have tried out so many foundations, but not all foundations though. Lets get started and these are not in any particular order.

NARS Sheer Glow/Matte Foundations
Prestige Mineral Loose Powder Foundations
Revlon ColorStay Makeup With Softflex for Combination/Oily Skin Foundations
Clinique Even Better Makeup SPF 15 Foundations
Clarins Extra Firming Foundations SPF 15
Josie Maran Argan Matchmaker Serum Foundations
Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundations
Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Foundations
Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundations
Yves Saint Laurent Teint Radiance Radiance Enhancing, Flawless Foundation
Lancome Teint Miracle
MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundations
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup

What's your favorite foundations?

My Favorite Foundation Routine for ALL Seasons!

I'll be talking about the products that I like to use for my favorite foundation routine for all seasons. Lets not waste anymore time and get started!

1.) You know the drill, my favorite foundation primer of all time is the Smashbox Photo Phinish Foundation Primer. I seriously have used 2 tubes of it, and now I am on my third tube of it. And like any other primer, I just apply a light even coat of it to my skin.

2.) A really good foundation that give off light to full coverage, but is light is the Josie Maran Argan Matchmaker Serum Foundation. My shade is in Fair/Light and it comes with 3 different shades. Basically, it just comes off as a white foundation, but when you start to blend it into your skin; it adjust to your skintone. And I like to apply this foundation with a sponge, because since it adjust to your skintone, a sponge would be a better choice than a brush. So the sponge that I use is the Beautyblender and you can get it at Sephora for about $20. I first dampened the blender with warm water and than I pump out one pump of the Josie Maran foundation onto the blender and pad it all over my face and neck. Then, I start to stipple the foundation into my skin. And than I pump out half a pump onto the blender and this time I stipple it into my skin and I lightly blend it in using circular motion across my face and neck.

3.) For concealer, my favorite all around concealer is the Make Up For Ever Full Coverage Concealer. My shade currently is #3 Light Beige. I apply the concealer under my eyes with my ring finger and on any other affected areas that I want to cover.

4.) The fourth step that I do is to take my Hourglass Foundation/Blush Brush No. 2 with my Lioele Skin Fix Twin Cake 27 PA++ in #21. I really like this brush because it is just a perfect face brush that you can use for anything.

5.) And the last thing that I always do is to set my face with a makeup setting spray. I don't have any particular spray that I like more than others, but for summer I lean more toward the Urban Decay De-Slick Oil-Control Makeup Setting Spray and Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray.

That is the end to my "favorite" foundation routine for all seasons.

$20 Makeup Challenge

Hello sunshines! Today post will be about me doing the $20 makeup challenge. Basically, all I really did was finding makeup in my own collection and checking the prices to make sure that they all adds up to $20 or less. I know that some people that does this on YouTube actually goes out and buy new makeup for $20 or less, but I just find that unnecessary. The look I am going for today is very, very, and super natural, it is based off of Korean celebrities. If you watch many Korean Dramas or K-Pop a lot, you will no that the actresses and singers have very minimal makeup that looks like they don't have on any makeup. So lets get started into the fun, and little makeup challenge tag.

 Steps:

1.) I first prime my face and my eyelids with the Claudia Stevens Perfection Primer Color Blend evenly with my hands. This product is $5.49.

2.) For foundation, I took the Rimmel London Clean Finish Foundation, and just apply a nice even coat of it to my face and neck with my fingers. And remember to apply a light coat of this underneath the eyes with your ring finger, because we will be using this as a concealer as well. And then, if you still have imperfections you want to correct, take any finger with the foundation and pad it lightly over the desired area. This product is $3.99.

3.) As far as the setting powder goes, with the ELF Essential Total Face Brush I am taking the Maybelline Shine Free Oil Control Press Powder and apply that to my whole face and down to my neck. The brush is $1 and the powder is $4.94.

4.) For eyes, I am taking the ELF Essential Duo Eyeshadow in Butter Pecan and take the lighter color with my finger and apply that all over my lid and up to the crease. This will just give you a nice, and natural wash of color for your eyes. This product is $1.

5.) Then, with my ELF Essentials Mechanical Eyelash Curler, I just curl my eyelashes regularly to open up my eyes. And this product was $1 and for mascara I will be using the ELF Essentials Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Clear Mascara in Crystal or my upper and lower lashes. And this clear mascara is $1 also.

 6) For my eyebrows, I will be taking my Wet n' Wild Color Icon Brow & Eye Liner in 648 Taupe to fill in my brows. And I will also be using this to line my upper lash line a bit. This is $0.99. And for a brow gel, I will be using the same ELF Essentials Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Clear Mascara in Crystal to set my brows in place.

7.) Lastly, for lips and cheeks, I'll be using the same product. So the product we will be using is the ELF Essentials Lipstick in Sociable. It is a bright hot pink lipstick, so I will be applying that lightly to my lips. And for my cheeks, just take a bit on my fingers and apply it to my cheeks. This color will really brighten up your complexion and is suitable for any season. This product is another $1 makeup item.

 Total: $19.41(without tax)

Hope you all had enjoyed this fun makeup challenge!

Summer Nails!

These are just some ideas of nails that you can recreate during the summer. These pictures are just inspirational goals that you can recreate something similar to. The pictures does not belong to me, but its rightful owner(s).

What's in my 2012 Beach Bag?

Summer is here in just a few days, so that means it is the beach time! I did a post like this about a year ago, but now since almost a year have past, things in my beach bags does change a bit. So I thought that it was very appropriate for me to do so, and I love putting a lot of things in my beach bags, so I do have quite a lot of items. And this isn't only focus for the beach, this is also what I bring when I go to the pool. Although, I love the beach more because of many reasons. Anyway, I'll get started with what beach bag I am using this summer and this summer I am using the Miss Sweety Croc-Grain Studded Tote in Blue Green from yesstyle.com. And I really love this bag because the color is just so vibrant and is just so beachy, and it's big enough to fit all of my belongings, but small enough for me to carry around. Lets get started...

1.) Mossimo Lucita Gemmed Flip Flop in Black- I am a heels girl, so I love wearing heels anywhere. But to the beach I don't like to wear high heels because than it will get all messed up, so when I am going to the beach I wear heels. Although, when I am on the beach I need to change to something more beachy like flip flops, and current favorite are the Mossimo Lucita Gemmed Flip Flops. I have all of the colors which are Rose Gold, Silver, and Black. For the beach I like to bring my black ones because it will match any color of my swimsuits.
2.) Towels- I always bring with me a beach towel so I can lay on the beach, and I just get ones that are cute from Target. And I just bring a regular towel to dry myself up when I am wet or when it starts to get cold.
3.) Magazines- I used to bring a book with me whenever I go to the beach, but now I've found that I like reading magazines a lot better on the beach. Magazines are more lightweight and carefree than books, and when I am on the beach I want to have fun and relax, not stuck to a book. And my favorite to bring to the beach are Seventeen Magazines and People's Magazines.
4.) Sunblock- I bring two sunblocks when I go to the beach, because the one I use for my body breaks out my face. The one that I am currently using and loving for my face is the Neutrogena Age Shield Face Sunblock SPF 70. And the one that I use for my body is also by Neutrogena, but it is the Spectrum + Advanced Sunblock Lotion SPF 100+ and last year I've used different sunblocks for both my face and body, but now I've discovered new ones that I liked better and are cheaper too.
5.) Tumbler- This year I started to use a tumbler more than water bottles, and the one that I have is my shopglitzyglam.com and it is in Hot Pink and Sky Blue with my initial on it. And the sky blue totally match my beach bag, which is so so great and it is just more cute than a water bottle. So I just filled it up with ice cold water and bring it to the beach.
6.) Sunglasses- I bring sunglasses wherever I go, but I especially make sure that I always bring it along with sunblock to the beach. The sun can really damage your eye and areas around your eye so it is really important to bring a good, and nice pair of sunglasses to the beach or the pool.
7.) Phone/iPod- I also always bring my phone and ipod with me, but now that I have an iPhone I just have to bring one electronics. And it is so much better than having to bring two electronics with me. And along with it I bring a headphone if I want to listen to music.
8.) Wallet- This is just an essential. It has many things that I need like my cards, money and etc.
9.) Keys- This is also another essential along with my wallet and many other items. So I just have a bunch of keys with me.
10.) Huggies Natural Care Wipes- I now am starting to bring wipes with me, because I remember that when I am starting to leave the beach, I would have sands all over my legs and even face. And the look of sand on skin is just not cute, so now I am bringing Huggies wipes with me. It is pretty small to bring to the beach with me in my beach bag, so I have no problem with it.
11.) Aveeno Eczema Therapy Moisturizing Cream- I have eczema on my palm, but I don't have it all the time. It comes and goes away pretty quickly for me, but I get it a lot on the beach, so I need a super moisturizing lotion to heal it. And the one that works best for me is the Aveeno one and along with CeraVe, but I use that at night.
12.) Makeup Bag- I am currently using the Benefit Travel Beauty Bag, and it fits everything I need. And I don't wear makeup to the beach anymore, because my skin is a lot clearer now and I can just wear my sunglasses if I want to look prettier. So the Benefit Travel Beauty Bag is perfect for the beach, since it has that summer theme to it. And these are the things that I keep in this makeup bag...

- Wide Tooth Comb
- Hair Ties
- Hair Clips
- Bobbi Pins
- Deodorant
- SPF Chapsticks/Lip Balms(Softlips, EOS, Jack Black, Nivea, etc)
- Compact Mirror

14.) Under Garments- I think we all know why I bring this.
15.) Dress- When I go to the beach I like to bring a dress with me, because it is really easy to put on and I don't like changing at the beach. So a dress is great, since it is a quick outfit to put on. And I always wear my bikini under my dress, so when I get to the beach I can just take off my dress and I'll be done. And when I am about to leave, I can just change into my under garments and put on my dress.
16.) Outerwear- Me, friends, and family usually leave the beach around 5-7pm so it's getting really cold especially near the beach. So I bring an outerwear everything that I can throw on my dress to keep me warm.
17.) Straw Floppy Hat- To keep my face and hair protected from the sun, I bring a big straw floppy hat. They are stylish, and is great to protect your head from the sun.

These are everything that I bring and will be bringing again to the beach/pool this summer. Hope you all enjoyed it!
